Instructions for Use and Care for uncoated cookware
Before using the product for the first time remove labels/stickers if there are any. After-
wards wash the cookware in hot soapy water thoroughly and dry. Wash up the pan after
each use. For cleaning, use hot water, standard cleaning agent, a soft cloth, sponge or
soft brush. Do not use steel wool, abrasive detergents or oven cleaner. To remove more
stubborn stains, we recommend using a special sponge and polishing agent for stainless
steel. After finishing cooking, empty the pan and clean it properly. Do not allow residues
to dry or store fried food in the cookware.
Boiling: Place your pot on a ring or burner with matching diameter. Fill it with liquid, (e.
g. water or stock), but avoid filling it to the brim. Some 2/3 of the stated nominal content
are recommended. Never use more than the amount of liquid actually needed. To reach
boiling point set your oven on maximum power. As soon as the liquid is boiling, turn the
heat down and keep it boiling on a lower power feed. Only add salt to boiling water or
hot foods. To avoid wasting energy, always keep the lid shut.
Frying: Before heating up please add some fat, e. g. butter. Only use suitable oil/fat for
frying. When heating up an empty pan very high temperature can be reached in short
period. Oil/fat may ignite when overheating the pan. Utensils may get damaged by
overheating. Damage from overheating is not covered by the guarantee.
If you see the butter becoming brown, the temperature is reached. Now the power feed of
the oven shall be reduced and the food can be prepared. Do not turn the food too early.
If food briefly sticks to the bottom, please wait. After two or three minutes, it should be
easy to remove. After the frying process let the utensil cool down and empty/clean it. Do
not let dry up food residues or use the utensil for storing food.
Braising: Always use enough liquid when braising and keep the lid shut.
Cooking with little water: A low heat setting should be sufficient. When cooking
