• Important: When heating the empty pan/pot (especially on an induction cooker)
very high temperatures can be reached very quickly which may cause oil or fat to
overheat and/or ignite. Overheating may reduce the non-stick effect of the coating or
destroy it completely. In this case the terms of guarantee will not apply.
• In the early days of use, start at a low heat setting and work your way up to the correct
setting. To start with, heat the pan/pot at a low switch setting. When you have gained
some experience, you can heat it at a medium setting of the switch. For gentle frying a
temperature of around 160 °C is sufficient, for fast frying around 200 °C.
• Do not put food in the pan/pot until the correct temperature has been reached. You
can test this by placing a small piece of butter in the pan/pot. As soon as the bubbles
tend to disappear the cookware is at the right temperature. Important: If the food is
too moist, hot fat may splash out and cause burns.
• Do not turn the food too soon. It only starts to brown after about two or three minutes.
• When braising always add enough liquid and place the lid on the pan/pot. A low
setting is sufficient.
• After finishing cooking, empty the pan/pot and clean it properly. Do not allow residues
to dry or store fried food in the cookware.

Other notes

• Do not push or pull the cookware across the ceramic-glass hob. Grains of salt or other
particles may cause scratches. Remove any dust caused by abrasion of aluminium
utensils from the hob immediately. If this is allowed to burn in, it becomes impossible
to remove.
• Do not leave cooking utensils unsupervised when in use.
• Do not leave children unsupervised near a cooker or hot utensils. Turn pan handles to
the side or the back of the cooker.
• Very frequent use of the utensil may cause deterioration of the non-stick effect.
• The utensil must always be used for its correct purpose only.
