1. The drain should be trapped to prevent outdoor air from being pulled in to the unit and constructed per local code.
2. Vertiv recommends the installation of threaded plugs at several locations to permit periodic cleaning and filling of the trap.
3. Where freezing temperatures are anticipated, the drain line and trap should be heat-traced to prevent freezing.
