- Page 7 Vertiv™ XTE 401 Series Heat Exchanger Door Assembly Kit Installation Manual 1 Vertiv™ XTE 401 Series Heat Exchanger Door Assembly Kit Installation Instructions 1.1 Kit Description These instructions provide a step-by-step procedure to field install this kit into a Cabinet (Spec. No. F2022005). Installation of this kit in other equipment should not be attempted.

All AC input power to the system must be turned off and all AC input disconnects must be locked out / tagged out before installing this kit. All DC input power to the system must be turned off and all DC input disconnects must be locked out / tagged out before installing this kit.
- Page 9 Vertiv™ XTE 401 Series Heat Exchanger Door Assembly Kit Installation Manual [ ] 5. Hold the door and remove the pop rivets from the hinges. See Figure 1.2. For the removal of pop rivets from the top five (5) positions: Use screwdriver to remove the body of the rivet.

- Page 11 Vertiv™ XTE 401 Series Heat Exchanger Door Assembly Kit Installation Manual [ ] 6. Set the door aside for disposal. Pull the heat exchanger’s power cable out of the cabinet along with the door. [ ] 7. Hold the new door up to the cabinet and align the hinge holes with the cabinet holes.
- Page 12 Vertiv™ XTE 401 Series Heat Exchanger Door Assembly Kit Installation Manual [ ] 8. Install the pop rivets by using the handheld pop rivet gun. See Figure 1.4. NOTE! Make sure to press the hinge firmly against the cabinet before installing the pop rivets.
