Operation

1. Remove the water tank and fill it with fresh cold water up to the desired level.
• The water tank must be filled with fresh cold drinking water, never use warm
or hot water.
• Do not fill the water tank above the indication of 1.25 litres.
2. Put the water tank back in the unit.
3. Ensure the filter basket is firmly and properly placed into position.
4. Open the filter basket lid. Place paper coffee filter in the filter basket and add the desired
amount of ground coffee in the coffee filter. We recommend one measuring spoon of
ground coffee per cup.

7. Place the coffee jug on the hot plate.
8. Plug into a socket.
9. Press the Start/Stop button once to start the brewing cycle. The unit will beep once and
the Start/Stop button light will start blinking.
10. Let the unit operate until the water tank is empty. Once all the coffee has dripped
through, the coffee is ready to be served, the Start/Stop button light will lit-up. When
the brewing cycle is complete, the unit will keep your coffee warm for approximately 40
minutes. Afterwards the unit will automatically switch off. The Start/Stop button light
will turn off.
• If you wish to interrupt the brewing cycle, set the flow control to ' STOP' .
The ' STOP' allows you to remove the coffee jug during the brewing cycle.
However, it is better to wait until the end of the brewing cycle to ensure an
optimum flavour and a high coffee quality.
• If you wish to switch off the unit within the keeping-warm period, press the
Start/Stop button once.
11. Unplug the unit. Remove the filter basket and throw away the used paper filter and
coffee grounds.
