Jug Use and Care

The jug may break if the following instructions are not followed:
1. Do not set a hot jug on a wet or cold surface.
2. Do not use a cracked jug or a jug with a loose or weakened handle.
3. Do not clean the jug with cleaners, steel wool pads or other abrasive materials.
4. Discard the jug immediately if it has boiled dry.
5. Avoid sharp blows, scratches or rough handling.
To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do not remove any service covers.
There are no user serviceable parts inside. Repairs should be done by qualified
personnel only.

First Time Use

1. Place the unit on a flat and stable surface.
2. Remove the water tank and fill it with fresh cold water.
• The water tank must be filled with fresh cold drinking water, never use warm
or hot water.
• Do not fill the water tank above the indication of 1.25 litres.
3. Put the water tank back in the unit.
4. Ensure the filter basket is firmly and properly placed into position.
Do not put a filter and/or ground coffee in the filter basket.
5. Place the coffee jug on the hot plate.
6. Plug into a socket.
7. Press the Start/Stop button once to start the brewing cycle.
8. Set the flow control; make sure it is NOT set on ' STOP' . The
unit will beep once and the Start/Stop button light will start
blinking.
9. Let the unit operate until the water tank is empty. When the
water tank is empty, the Start/Stop button light will lit-up.
10. Press the Start/Stop button once to switch off the unit. The
Start/Stop button light will turn off. Unplug the unit.
11. Wash the coffee jug and the filter basket with warm, soapy water.
12. Rinse and dry thoroughly and place the coffee jug and filter basket back into position.
13. The coffee machine is now ready for use.
