CHANGE PROJECTION LENS PROCEDURE

FOR THE PROJECTION LENS SUBSTITUTION, TO USE EXCLU-
SIVELY THE PROJECTION LENS KIT (OPZIONAL) SUPPLIED BY
SIM2 AND FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS.
1. Before changing the projection lens disconnect the unit
from the mains power supply.
2. Remove the magnetic cover on the frontal part of
HT5000 projector (1).
3. Unblock the projections lens by means the projection
lens key, contained in the package (2).
Insert the key in the appropriate hole, clock wise the key
until the end of the allowed spin.

Extract the projection lens (3).
5.
Put the new projection lens inside of its joint; pay atten-
tion that the connector is oriented to the correct part of
projector (4).
6.
After having inserted the new projection lens, to repeat
the block of the projections lens by means the projec-
tion lens key, contained in the package. Insert the key
in the appropriate hole, counter clock wise the key until
the end of the allowed spin.
7.
Connect the projector to a power supply and control
the correctly operation of the new projection lens.
FOR THE PROJECTION LENS SUBSTITUTION, DO NOT OPEN
THE PROJECTOR'S COVER; NO USER SERVICEABLE PARTS
ARE INSIDE. REFER SERVICING TO QUALIFIED SERVICE PER-
SONNEL. USE PROTECTION GLOVES TO AVOID ACCIDENTAL
SCRATCHES OR PRINTS ON PROJECTION LENS.
BEFORE TO REMOVE PROJECTION LENS MUST PROVIDE TO
SET THE LENS IN ORIGINAL CENTER POSITION USING THE
"CENTER LENS" SPECIAL FUNCTION. CENTER LENS FUNTION
IS CONTAINED BY OSD SERVICE MENU.
ATTENTION (only for HT5000HB - PRO5DL)
HIGHT ALTITUDE.
During the installation, when using the projector over 3000
feet above sea level, set the "ALTITUDE" to "HIGH" from the
Service menu. Otherwise the life of the product may be
shortened.
