Finger Guard Switch

The finger guard is the small lip in the front of the heater plate assembly that
can be lifted slightly. The finger guard switch is actuated if the finger guard is
lifted or moved from its regular position. This system ensures that, if the
operator should accidentally make contact with the heater plate while the
roller is turning, power is interrupted to prevent injuries.
