Instruction to the indicators
Smart key system warning indicator
Press "Start/Stop" button. If there is no electronic smart key at the time, the warning
indicator will be turned on and held a few seconds, the buzzer will sound once, and
"No Key Detected" will be displayed on the dashboard.
If the electronic smart key is taken into the car within a few seconds when the warning
indicator is on, the warning indicator will be turned off and the car can be powered up.
If "Start/Stop" button is pressed with an electronic smart key, the warning indicator will
not be turned on and the car can be powered up.
If the warning indicator flashes after pressing "Start/Stop" button, it indicates that the
key battery is low-voltage.
ABS fault warning indicator
When the power supply is in "OK" position, the warning indicator will be turned on. If
the anti-lock brake system is operated normally, the indicator will be turned on and
then turned off after a few seconds. Thereafter, if the system is faulty, the indicator will
be turned on again until the fault is eliminated.
When ABS fault warning indicator is turned on (the parking brake fault warning
indicator is turned off), the anti-lock brake system cannot be operated but the brake
system can be operated normally.
When ABS fault warning indicator is turned on (the parking brake fault warning
indicator is turned off), the wheels will be locked during emergency braking or braking
on a slippery road because the anti-lock braking system cannot be operated.
In any of the following cases, it indicates that a component monitored with the warning
indicator system is faulty, it is recommended to contact BYD Auto Authorized Service
Station for inspection as soon as possible.
When the power supply is in "OK" position, the warning indicator will not be turned
on or always on continuously.
The warning indicator will be turned on during driving process.
A short flashing of the warning indicator during operation does not indicate a fault.
