How to connect to / disconnect from your PC
Notes on connection
- If a recorded file from this unit is copied to a PC and the file name is changed,
the file cannot be played after it is restored to the original folder (storage
location) of this unit. Assign a name according to the following "File name
rules" or move the file to the "MUSIC" folder and then play the file.
File name rules
- "MIC" folder : Three-digit number (001 - 199) + M + ̲ + Date + ̲ + Time
(hour, minute) + . + Extension
(Example: 001M̲090101̲0935.mp3)
- "LINE" folder : Three-digit number + L + ̲ + Date + ̲ + Time (hour, minute)
+ . + Extension
(Example: 001L̲090101̲0935.mp3)
* The first three-digit number is automatically changed so that serial numbers
are given to files in a folder.
- Format SD cards in this unit. If a card is formatted in a PC, recording may not
be function correctly.
For formatting a card in this unit, refer to page 28, "Erasing" and execute

- If a bus power type USB hub or a USB cable other than the supplied cable is
used, operation is not guaranteed. Be sure to use the supplied dedicated USB
cable to connect the unit to a PC.
- Even if no battery is inserted in this unit, data can be transferred between this
unit and a PC.
