Place the deodorizing Black Filter in a shaded area
with good air ventilation for about 3 hours. Avoid direct
sunlight.
• At night, expose the deodorizing Black Filter to
artificial light for about 3 hours to refresh it.
• The deodorizing Black Filter is refreshed by light.

Place the deodorizing Black Filter in the filter tray.
• Be sure to align the slots on the bottom of the
deodorizing Black Filter with the tabs on the filter
beneath it.

Insert the filter tray into the product.
Note
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove the foreign substances
attached to the deodorizing Black Filter.
Caution
• Do not wash the deodorizing Black Filter with water. It
may shorten the filter lifespan or stain the product.
• The lifespan of the deodorizing Black Filter may be
reduced depending on the usage environment and it may
need to be replaced.
Cleaning the PM 1.0 Black Filter

Press the filter tray release button to open the filter
tray.

Slide the filter tray out completely and remove the
PM 1.0 Black Filter from under the deodorizing Black
Filter.
• Do not attempt to separate the two sections of the
PM 1.0 Black Filter.

Soak only the PM 1.0 Black Filter in a solution of
water and neutral detergent for about 30 minutes.
(The deodorizing Black Filter cannot be washed.)
• Make sure the neutral detergent is completely
dissolved in warm water (35 – 40°C).
• Fully immerse the PM 1.0 Black Filter in the soapy
water.
