Warning
Shock Hazard – Before cleaning the device,
disconnect it from the power line.
Equipment Damage – Liquids must not be allowed
to enter the device. Devices into which liquids have
entered must be immediately cleaned and checked
by a service technician, before they can be reused.
Do not use acids or alkaline solution (household
cleaners) or caustic disinfectants. We recommend
Fugaten spray, Lysoform or Promanum N for
disinfection.
Wipe the device surface down with a cloth moistened
with soap water or a disinfectant. The cloth must not
be dripping wet; liquids must not enter the device.
Blood-Pressure Cuff
Clean the blood-pressure cuff by wiping it down with
a cloth moistened with soap water. Take care that no
liquids enter the bladder of the cuff.
Alcohol is the only approved disinfectant.
Regularly clean the microphone; to do so, remove it
from its pocket in the cuff. Note the microphone
orientation so as to be able to reinsert it correctly after
cleaning (brass-colored side towards artery).
Clean the microphone with a cloth moistened with
alcohol or soap water. Dry the microphone before
reinserting it in the cuff.
Cables
Disconnect cables from the device before cleaning
them.
Use a cloth moistened with soap water to wipe the
cables clean. Do not immerse the cable in liquid.
