Volume control (optional)

The volume control allows the user to adjust the volume in specific listening situations
to the level he or she feels comfortable with.
To increase volume, shortly press the upper end of the push-button (UP).
To decrease volume, shortly press the lower end of the push-button (DOWN).
If beeps are enabled, the user will hear a beep when
the volume is turned up or down.

When the hearing instrument is turned on, it starts up at a preferred volume level.
When adjusting the volume control to the preferred level, this is indicated by 2 rapid
beeps (if enabled). If the visual indicator (LED) is enabled it will show a sequence 5 rapid
blinks.
When reaching minimum or maximum volume level, three rapid beeps may also have
been set by the hearing care professional.
using 2 instruments
For ease of use, the push-button can be programmed to adjust the volume in the other
instrument. Changing the volume on one side, will change the volume on the other side
as well. This is referred to as binaural coordination of the volume control (Safari 900 and
600 only).
