5.16 Oil change in tamper foot

Change the oil at operating temperature.
Caution
!
Ensure strict cleanliness.
Tip the tamper backwards.

Clean the oil drain plug (Fig. 57) and screw it
l
out, let the oil run out.
Environment
Environmental damage!
Catch old oil and dispose of environmentally.
Check the seal on the drain plug, replace if
l
necessary.
Turn the drain plug in and tighten it.

Stand the tamper on its foot and secure it
l
against tipping over.
Clean the filler plug (Fig. 58) and unscrew it.
l
Fill in new oil.
l
Screw the filler plug back in with a new seal
l
ring.
For quality of oil refer to the table of fuels and
lubricants.

Clean the inspection glass (Fig. 59) and check
l
the oil level.
The oil must be visible in the inspection glass,
l
if necessary fill in oil accordingly.
