Modular 2U SAS expansion unit connectors and LEDs

Front panel status LEDs
SFF drives are installed and removed from the front of the modular 2U SAS
expansion unit. The back of the unit contains the LEDs and connectors for
attaching the unit to an AMS 2100 or AMS 2300 storage system.

POWER LED (green)
• ON = expansion unit is receiving power.
• OFF = expansion unit is not receiving power.
READY LED (green)
• ON = system can be operated.
• Fast blinking = internal processing is occurring, system is operational
(even if the READY LED blinks).
• Slow blinking = offline download processing ended (occurs during
maintenance).
LOCATE LED (orange)
• ON = a failure occurred, but the expansion unit remains operational.
