08. Troubleshooting

08.1 SUB bus power faulty (LED flashes)
The ReadyHUB supplies the SUB layer with 12V bus power. If this voltage drops below
11V this fault is indicated by a flashing Power-SUB-BiDiB LED (5).
This fault can have to possible reasons:

08.2 Logon to the BiDiBus has been rejected
The superordinate interface rejects the logon of the module if there are more than 32
modules (incl. interface) connected to one layer or if the module tried the logon
several times. This repeated logon might happen if the power supply is unsteady
because of overload or a faulty power supply.
Manual ReadyHUB
Manual Version 1.0
The connected power supply is below 12V.
Use a DC power supply with a voltage between 12V and 18V.
The power consumption of the BiDiB SUB layer exceeds 500mA.
Supply modules through dedicated power supplies instead of using
bus power. Alternatively other modules can assist with supplying
power to the bus. Suitable for this task are for example: the module
GBM16TS or the supply module ReadyPower. Before connecting
take notice of the manuals of the respective modules.
