– Remove bolt for ATF line retainer from gearbox.
– Remove ATF lines from gearbox.
– Seal ATF lines and gearbox with clean plugs.
6.2.2 Installing
Install in reverse order of removal. During this step, observe the
following:
– Moisten O-rings with ATF.
– Remove plugs and push ATF lines into gearbox to stop.
– Tighten bolt ⇒ Item 1 (page 46)
– Tighten bolt for ATF line retainer on gearbox
⇒ Item 2 (page 46) .
– Tighten bolt for ATF line retainer on right side of engine
⇒ Item 3 (page 46) .
– Remove plugs and bolt ATF lines to ATF cooler and thermo‐
stat ⇒ Item a (page 46)
