– Lever out insert.
– Pull clip out of handle.
– Pull button past pressure point until it is locked in position.
– Now pull handle off selector lever.
2.3.2 Installing handle
Note
Observe differing procedures when installing trim insert.
If button is inadvertently pressed into handle, hold handle verti‐
cally and use compressed air from below to carefully blow button
outward again until it can be pulled out over the pressure point by
hand.
– Refit assembly aid -A- (included with new handle).
– Push clip in again.
Handle with »old-type« recesses
– Push insert onto stop in handle.
Note
To ensure insert locking lugs assume correct position in recesses
in handle:
– Slide insert approx. 1 mm back and forth in handle by hand.
Handle with »modified« recesses
