Meaning of the Setup Parameters

SCSI Bus Interface Definitions
Host Adapter SCSI
All SCSI devices connected to an SCSI bus, including the SCSI controller,

must have different SCSI addresses.

The SCSI controller uses default parity checking on the SCSI bus for

with any SCSI address (ID). The selected SCSI ID must match the one
configured on the drive.
