2.5 Replacing the AISG/MON Interface Cable

Replacing the AISG/MON interface cable will result in interruption of all services carried
by the cable. It may take about ten minutes to replace the AISG/MON interface fiber.
Steps
1. Remove the old cable, see
a. Record and mark the connection positions at both ends of the faulty AISG/MON
interface cable.
b. Turn the fastening screws on the cable connector in counterclockwise direction
with a screwdriver to loosen the connector.
c. Pull out the connectors at both ends of the cable to take out the faulty cable.

2. Install a new cable.
