a. Connect the new AISG/MON interface cable to the corresponding interfaces in
accordance with the original positions of the AISG/MON cable to be replaced. For
detailed installation instructions, refer to the ZXSDR R8872A Macro Remote Radio
Unit Hardware Installation.
b. Stick a label on the new AISG/MON interface cable.
The label must contain the same contents as those on the label on the previous
cable.
3. According to purposes of different interface cables, test whether the corresponding
cable can connect to the debugging device, monitoring device, or AISG antenna
properly. If the connection is abnormal, check the connection and connect the cable
again.

Yes → The cable is connected properly. Go to the next step.

No → Troubleshoot the fault and connect the cable again, or contact ZTE technical
support.
4. Handle the faulty cable.
a. Put the faulty cable into a moisture-proof antistatic bag, mark the cable type and
fault information on a label, and then stick the label on the bag.
b. Put the bag containing the faulty cable into a carton, and stick the same label on
the carton, providing necessary information for cable repair.
c. Contact the local office of ZTE for handling the faulty cable.
