Charging the High Voltage Battery using the Remote
1. Make sure the charge connector is plugged in.
2. Press the power button to turn on the interactive remote.
3. Press and hold the Charge button.

The beeper sounds once.
u
The vehicle starts charging the High Voltage battery. The High Voltage battery
charging indicator blinks. The charge stops when the High Voltage battery level
is full.
Turning on the Climate Control System
Adjusting the interior temperature to the comfortable level of 77°F while the High
Voltage battery is being charged can help reduce the battery use while driving.
1. Press the power button to turn on the interactive remote.
2. Press and hold the Climate button.

The beeper sounds once.

The climate control system turns on. The climate control indicator blinks.
Muting the Beeper Sounds
You can mute the beeper sounds that operate on the remote.
1. Press the power button to turn on the interactive remote.
2. Press and hold the power and Charge buttons at the same time.

To unmute the beeper sounds, press and hold the power and Climate buttons
at the same time.
u
A chime sounds when the beeper sounds are muted or unmuted.

Pressing and holding the Charge button again stops
the High Voltage battery charging.
1Turning on the Climate Control System
The climate control system cannot be turned on
when:
The tailgate, hood, or any doors are open
The key is in the power switch
The brake pedal is depressed.
The climate control system may not be turned on if
the interior and outside ambient temperatures are
within certain parameters.
Pressing and holding the Climate button again turns
off the climate control system.
The climate control system is automatically turned off
when:
If it is continuously on for 30 minutes.
When the High Voltage battery level goes down to
15% or lower.
The driver door or hood is open.
The brake pedal is depressed.
If the charge connector is unplugged, the battery is
used to power the climate control system.
If you are using the 120V (level 1) charge, you cannot
turn on the climate control system remotely while the
charge connector and the charging cable are plugged
in.
