Turning on the Interactive Remote Control
Press the power button to turn on the remote. The beeper sounds once after the
remote has received the information.

The remote starts receiving information from the vehicle, the information
includes:
• Remaining High Voltage battery charge level percentage
• Interior temperature in Fahrenheit
• High Voltage battery charging status

While the High Voltage battery is being charged, the charging indicator blinks.
• Climate control system status

While the climate control system is in use, the climate control indicator blinks.
Switching the display
Press the power button again to switch the display from remaining High Voltage
battery level to the interior temperature.
Turning off the remote
Press and hold the power button. The power goes off automatically if you do not
operate the remote for more than 15 seconds.
1Turning on the Interactive Remote Control
The transceiving indicator and error indicator blink
simultaneously when the remote is not receiving
signals from the vehicle. Find a place where signals
coming from the vehicle are not blocked. The remote
is more likely to receive signals when you hold up
around your shoulder level in the upright position.
When you check your vehicle status using the
interactive remote control or smartphone app, the
navigation system comes on, performs a system
checkup, and goes into standby mode. It
automatically shuts off after a while.
If you want to operate the system while it is in
standby mode, turn the power switch to ACCESSORY
or ON
.
