Here are solutions to some problems
you may encounter using the Google
Home devices
Before you give up, you should know that a lot of
issues with the Google Home devices are easy to
solve. Due to the Google Home being a software-
heavy device, many solutions will involve making
changes in the Google Home app or with a soft
reset by unplugging it from its power source.
We're going to take you through some of the

My Google Home won't connect to
my Wi-Fi network
For problems with Wi-Fi connections it is best to
split the problem into two possible categories:
your Wi-Fi router and the Google Home device.
Start by checking if your other devices in the
house can connect to the Wi-Fi. If they are also
having problems connecting, then the problem
is your Wi-Fi network. Turn off the router, unplug
it for around a minute before plugging it back in.
If the router is still having problems after this we
recommend you contact your internet provider.
If the Wi-Fi is fine, check your Google Home
device. Unplug the power supply from your
Google Home device and leave it for around one

Google Home in the same room as the Wi-Fi
router can improve the signal as obstacles such as
