Set timers and alarms
noise, Google Home has introduced Music Alarms. Ask Google to
set a music alarm and it will ask you what music you would like
it to play. Alarm tones and songs will only be played through the
device's speaker and cannot be cast to other devices.
You can cancel an alarm at any time or ask Google Assistant to
snooze one when it has gone off and you can specify for how long.
Although you cannot set an alarm in the Google Home app, you
can edit or delete them via the app. Go into the Devices tab, find
your Google Home, then tap the More icon and go into the device's
settings. Select the Alarms and Timers option and all of your current
alarms will be displayed. Tap on the 'X' icon to delete an alarm. This
can be useful if you can't talk to your device to cancel an alarm;
perhaps you are away from home and forgot to cancel it before
you left or you need to cancel an alarm in the middle of the night
without disturbing others in the house.
