Use a secondary speaker with Google Home for
superior sound quality
Google Home is a decent speaker for a kitchen or bedroom, but it's
not a premium audio device and its low price point shows as much.
So it's handy that a relatively recent update to Google Home's
software now means you can pair it with other, beefier, speakers via
the wonder of Bluetooth – good news if you have an existing audio
device that's decent but which lacks the voice-activated power of
the Google Assistant.
This is especially excellent if you have a Google Home Mini,
because that device only has a speaker that's good for answering
back to you and very little else. Pairing with a Bluetooth speaker
means you can still command Google Home in the same way
– it obviously doesn't mean that your second Bluetooth speaker
becomes voice-enabled, and you'll still need to be within range
of your original Google Home speaker to issue voice commands;
it doesn't suddenly increase the range. But the thing it changes is
