Enable Guest
Mode
Guest mode makes your Google Home available
for friends and family to access
The Google Home can be great at parties, playing music with its
array of speakers. If a friend has a song suggestion, guest mode
allows your friends to cast media from their smartphone or tablet.

Set up Guest Mode

To set up Guest mode open the Google Home app, tap on the
devices icon in the top-right corner of the screen, select the More
icon on your Google Home device, select 'Guest mode' and tap on
the slider to enable the feature.

Let guests connect

Once this has been completed anyone in the same room can
connect to the device without needing to sign in to the Wi-Fi
network. All the guest must do is open their Chromecast-enabled
app, tap on the Cast icon to find your Google Home and then wait
for the devices to connect. The guest may be asked to enter a four-
digit PIN, this can be found on the 'Guest Mode' page of the Google
Home app where you enabled the feature, located under the slider.
