Adequate space should be left behind the units for cable connections and access.
The computer and interface units must have adequate airspace around them to allow
free airflow for cooling purposes. In some instances it may be necessary to provide a
forced airflow to achieve this.
Installing the units
CAUTION: Transit securing clips
Before installation the transit securing clips must be removed from the
hard drive shock mounts of both the avigation and Entertainments
computers.

The computer and interface units must be supported behind the bulkhead when
installed. This can be achieved using suitable 'L' section channel or a shelf (A and B
above).
DO NOT use the front bezel of the unit for support.(C above).
Every endeavour should be made to secure the computer and interface units to their
mounting supports, along their entire length or at a minimum the rear, in order to
prevent movement and provide correct shock and vibration support (D above).
Adequate room must be left at the front of the navigation computer to allow operation
of the CD-ROM drive.
