Possible cause
Blunt blade
Dirty appliance
Overheated motor
Dirty slide bar
Some food stick to the
blade.

Solution
Sharpen blade
Clean the appliance
Let the machine cool off for an extended period. The
motor's safety thermostat will reset itself automatically.
Clean the slide bar and lubricate with Vaseline
Switch off the appliance & unplug it. Let it come to a
complete stop. Remove any blockage. Wipe the blade
with a damp cloth.
