11. When Windows is restarted, the Star
WinType TEST Utility will check to
make sure that all of the print modes work
correctly. The test utility will print
several pages during the test, including
a configuration page containing infor-
mation about your system and printer.
Caution: Make sure that the printer is turned on and that there is enough paper
in the paper tray to perform this test.
Note:
It is a good idea to save a copy of the most recent configuration page
with this manual because it may be useful if you ever have to call
Customer Service.
12. If the installation is completed success-
fully, WinType device names will appear
in the Printers window of your Control
Panel.
