Pitch defineshow many charactersper inch you want for a monospaced-

settingsof 10, 12 or 16.66charactersper inch. Cartridgeor downloaded
fontswith monospaccdpitchesoftenhaveothersettingsfor charactersper
inch.
To selectthe pitch you want for the primaryfont, send this command:

The height of the characters you print is measured in point sizes. The

36 pointsizes.Ifthe fontheightyouspecificallyask for is not available,the
printerwill selectthe font with the size closestto your request.
