2.2 Operating safety requirements

Assembly, commissioning, installation, maintenance and repair should only be done by qualified personnel who have read and understood the
instructions completely.
Before comissioning, maintenance, repairs of any kind and tool change, ensure that the machine is depressurized (switched off).
The machine has a laser center display (class 2). Turn away or close eyes immediately when momentarily exposed to the laser beam.
All cable and hose asseblies should be connected bend-free and must not obstruct walkways, which could lead to tripping hazards.
The maximum pressure of 210bar must never be exceeded.
Safety mechanisms must never be removed or deactivated.
Machine must always be switched off and the pressure released after use.
häwa GmbH will not be held liable for any damages caused by faulty installation, safety requirements not upheld or through abusive utilization.

3. Utilization

The Quick-press 400 is state of the art technology within the context of its intended use and coherent safety requirements, at time the device was put
into circulation.
The Quick-press 400 is certified according to the EG-Conformity and Incorporation Regulations (see attached), therefore conforms to the specifications
set out in the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EG. (DGUV Test - German Test and Certification System for Statutory Accident Insurance).

3.1 Intended use

The Quick-press 400 is designed for fast cutting of round and profile holes in steel, stainless steel and aluminium plates.
Under certain conditions, some plastics can be processed (soft plastic mixtures in conjunction with sharp tools). Preliminary tests required.
Handling of the Quick-press 400 to be followed in accordance with the instructions set out in this manual.
Any inappropriate utilization or mal-handling not in accordance to the requirements as set out in the instruction manual falls outside the manufacturer's
limits of liability.

Processing of
Mounting Plates
Terminal boxes
Enclosures
Cable ducts, etc.

3.2 Misuse

The EG-Conformity and Incorporation Regulations Certification awarded to häwa GmbH is rendered null and void, through any
unauthorised changes, inappropriate utilization or mal-handling, restricting the consent to operate.
Improper handling includes:
Outdoor use.
Operating without protective gear.
Operating while device is not fastened (bolted to the floor).
Operation with blunt cutting tools.
Incorrect and unauthorised performed repairs.
Utilizing outside its intended use.
