On a Wall Plate or Wall
1. Insert the bracket's tabs into the base's
lower tab slots, then press down on the
bracket's clips and insert them into the
clip slots.
2. Plug one end of the supplied short mod-
ular cord into the
TEL LINE
back of the base.
3. Insert the supplied AC adapter's barrel
plug into
jack on the back of the
DC IN 9V
base.
4. Route the adapter and modular cords
through the grooves on the bracket.
5. Plug the modular
cord's other end
into the wall plate
jack, then align the
bracket's
keyhole
slots with the wall
plate
studs
and
slide the base downward to secure it.
6. Plug the adapter into a standard AC out-
let.
7. Press and lift out the handset holder.
Rotate it 180°, then snap it back into
place so it holds the handset.
8. Lift the base's antenna to a vertical posi-
tion.
Note: To mount the phone directly on a wall,
you need two screws (not supplied) with
heads that fit into the keyhole slots on the
bottom of the base (minimum length 1
inches.
Follow the steps under "On a Wall Plate or
Wall," then apply these additional instruc-

The phone comes with a rechargeable
nickel-cadmium battery pack in the hand-
set. Before using your phone, you must
connect the battery pack, then charge it for
about 24 hours.
