The JCR-350 is powered by an external AC-DC adaptor with an output of
600mA
.
The unit is also equipped with a battery back-up system for the clock that uses 1 x
CR2032 lithium battery (Not included).
POWER CONNECTION
1. Connect the cord of the power adaptor to the DC IN JACK (#19) of the JCR-350.
2. Plug the power adaptor into a household wall socket. The unit is powered up and in
standby mode when you see the display turn on.
Battery Back-up system
• The unit is equipped with a battery back-up system that requires a 3V CR2032
lithium battery (not included).
• Use a coin to rotate/open the BATTERY COMPARTMENT (#17) door. Remove the
door once it's open.
• Insert the battery into the BATTERY COMPARTMENT (#17) and make sure the
positive and negative (+ or -) sides of the battery are in contact with the
corresponding terminals located in the BATTERY COMPARTMENT (#17).
• Replace the BATTERY COMPARTMENT (#17) door and use a coin to rotate/close
it back in place.
• If a power outage occurs, the display will be off, but the back-up battery will
preserve the clock and alarm settings until the power is restored.
• We recommend leaving the power adaptor connected when replacing the battery.
All clock and alarm settings will be lost if you replace the battery with the power
adaptor unplugged.
WARNING
DO NOT INGEST BATTERY, CHEMICAL BURN HAZARD
This product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the coin/button cell battery is
swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death.
Keep new and used batteries away from children. If the battery compartment does not
close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body,
seek immediate medical attention.
