device, prevents malfunctions caused by improper operation, and
lengthens the service life of your device.
Please keep these instructions readily accessible at all times. Use the
device only when you have understood it exactly and always adhere
to the instructions.
PROXXON is not liable for the safe functioning of the device in cases
of:
Handling that does not conform to the usual usage, purposes of use

All instructions must be read. Errors regarding non-compliance with

operated electric tools (with mains cable) and to battery operated
electric tools (without mains cable).

KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS
16
16
17
Work area
17
a) Keep your work area clean and tidy. Untidiness and unilluminated
17
work areas can lead to accidents.
17
b) Do not use this device in an explosion-hazardous area in which
17
flammable liquids, gasses, or dusts are present. Power tools
17
generate sparks, which can ignite the dust or vapors.
17
c) Keep children and other people away while using the power tool.
18
Distractions can cause you to lose control of the device.
18
18
Electrical safety
18
18
a) The connecting plug must fit correctly into the mains outlet. The
18
plug must not be modified in any way whatsoever. Do not use
18
any adapter plug together with ground-protected devices. Plugs
that have not been modified and suitable mains receptacles
19
reduce the risk of an electric shock.
19
b) Prevent contact between your body and grounded surfaces, such
19
as pipes, radiators, electric ranges, refrigerators). There is an
19
increased risk of electric shock if your body is grounded.
19
c) Keep the device out of rain and moisture. Penetration of water
19
into a power tool increases the risk of electric shock.
19
d) Do not use the cable for a non-intended purpose, to carry the
19
device, to hang it up, or to pull the plug from the wall outlet. Keep
20
the cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges, and moving device
3
parts. Damaged and tangled cables increase the risk of electric
shock.
e) If you are working with a power tool outdoors, use only extension
cords that are also approved for outdoor areas. Use of an
extension cord approved for outdoor areas decreases the risk of
electric shock.
Personal safety
a) Be attentive, pay attention to what you are doing, and tackle the
work with a reasonable attitude. Do not use the device if you are
tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. One
moment of carelessness during use of the device can lead to
serious injuries.
b) Wear personal protective gear and safety glasses always.
Wearing personal protective gear, such as dust masks, non-slip
safety shoes, hard hats, and hearing protection, depending on
the type and use of the power tool, decrease the risk of injuries.
c) Prevent unintended start-up. Make sure the switch is in the
„OFF" position before you plug the mains plug into the mains
outlet. Leaving your finger on the switch while carrying the
device or connecting the device to the mains supply while it is
switched on can lead to accidents.
d) Remove the adjusting tools and wrenches before you switch on
the device. A tool or wrench in the rotating device part can lead
to injuries.
