Error messages

 Repairs should only be carried out by a Miele authorised technician.
Unauthorised or incorrect repairs can cause unforeseen danger to users.
If an error occurs in a programme or a language, this is identified in the display by the
 symbol and the programme or language can no longer be selected.

Language

The controls run a system analysis each time the appliance is switched on and each time
it returns to the programme list. All modules and their sensors, data from the operating
system, drying programmes and languages are checked.
If an error occurs in a currently selected language, the following error message appears:
Data fault

Function restricted.
Language defect.
Malfunctions occurring before or after the start of a programme will flash in the display.

The display remains dark.
Fan fault
Programme stopped. Press
start. Motor overheating.
Machine fault
Call the Service Department if
mains interruption does not
work.

Cause and remedy
There is no power to the tumble dryer.
Check the mains plug, main switch and fuses (on site).

The motor temperature is too high.
Allow the motor to cool down.

A tumble dryer error occurred.
Disconnect the tumble dryer from the power supply, wait

a moment and then reconnect the power supply.
If the error is still showing in the display, call Service.

