The use of unused conduits is not permissible without the approval of a qualified tech-
nician. The minimum distance between the hob surface and the lowest part of the hood
must be 70 cm. IF the instructions for the cooker installed under the hood require an even
greater distance, this must take precedence.

- INSTALLATION

Before installing the hood, remove the anti-grease filters to avoid damaging the appliance. To
remove the anti-grease filters, push the handle toward the lower part of the hood and rotate the
filter downward, removing it from its housing (Fig. 3A).
Wall stirrup-fixing
By using the special drilling jig (Fig.4X), perforate the wall according to the pattern indicated
by the jig itself, and pay attention in order not to damage water pipes and electric wires. Per-
foration should be performed with a Ø 8 mm wall-drill. Then insert into the proper plastic
reinforcements (Fig.4A). The hood-bearing stirrup (Fig.5) can be applied by using the screws
provided with the equipment (Fig.4S). Now hook the cooker hood onto its bearing (Fig.4B) and
then adjust horizontally and vertically the position of the appliance by acting on the special
metric screws (Fig.7).
Fixing the ornamental chimney
Before fixing the chimney, place the electric feeding equipment into the ornamental pipe and
provide it with a hole for the air outlet if the appliance is used in its sucking version.
Discharge mode
Attach the hose wall mount to the wall and/or ceiling with the screw expanders and screws
(Fig.8Y). Connect the air discharge flange to the discharge hole with the purpose hose.
Carry out the electrical hook up. Place the two decorative flues on the suction unit. Raise the
internal flue until it meets the ceiling and fasten it to the flue-mounting unit with the two self-
tapping screws included.
- Attach the suction units (Fig.6) to the attached wall mount. Using the adjustment screws (Fig.
7V), make sure the hood is level.
Recirculation mode
Attach the hose wall mount to the wall and/or ceiling with the screw expanders and screws.
Attach the air deflector to the upper flue (Fig. 10) near the holes made on the back of the flue.
Connect the air discharge flange to the deflector with the purpose hose.
Carry out the electrical hook up.
Place the two flues on the suction unit. Adjust the upper flue until it meets the ceiling and fa-
sten it to the flue-mounting unit with the two self-tapping screws included.
