ROUBLESHOOTING

Unit Not Heating Up Properly or Not Cooking Properly, "ON" Light Lit

Check all three main fuses; replace as necessary (see Figure 9 on page 26).
DISCONNECT POWER AT CIRCUIT BREAKER.
Remove control panel.
Check door switch for continuity (see Figure 13 on
page 30).
Continuity?
No
Replace door switch.
Replace pressure switch.

Unit not heating up properly or not cooking properly, "ON" light lit.
DISCONNECT POWER AT THE CIRCUIT BREAKER.
Reconnect power to unit.
Turn unit on. WAIT 5 MINUTES.
Open door; depress and hold door switch.
Does contactor
"click" on and stay on
No
for at least 2
minutes?
Yes
Reconnect door switch
lead wires.
Remove rear cover.
Check pressure switch for
proper operation (see
Figure 17 on page 34).
No Pressure switch OK?

Yes
DISCONNECT POWER AT CIRCUIT BREAKER.
Remove control panel.
Check resistance between contactor terminals and
replace elements as necessary (see Figure 8 on
page 25).
Check high-limit
thermostats (see
Yes
Figure 18 on page 35).
High-limit
No thermostats
Replace high-limit
thermostats
as necessary.
