7.7.4 Navigating Along a Route

To begin navigating along a route, bring up the tap-and-hold menu for the route
and select the Follow Route option. The navigation windows will be displayed
showing the distance and bearing from your current position to the nearest
waypoint along the route. The red flashing dot indicates your current position.
The Navigation window appears, showing the name of the mark and the distance
and bearing from your current position. If you are moving, it also shows an arrow
indicating the direction of the mark relative to your current direction of travel.
Your position is shown by the red cross-hair cursor. The centre of the cursor
flashes each time a new position is received (every few seconds). If the cursor
stops flashing and turns grey, the position is not up to date. A track will be
plotted, showing your progress towards the mark.
The guidance arrow indicates the direction to travel. Follow the arrow by bearing
right if the arrow is pointing to the right or left if it is pointing left until the arrow is
pointing straight up. The straight up arrow indicates that you are heading directly
towards the indicated waypoint.
