5.5.3 Partial Address Searches

Partial address searches are a much faster way of entering address details. It is
also possible to locate an address in the database where the correct spelling of
the city or street is unknown. Partial address searches require only a portion of
the street or city name be entered as search criteria.
For example
To search for the address – Edward Street, Brisbane, Australia
Enter the following:
Selecting the Search button will return matching details from the database.
In this case 19 results were found and the fourth in the list happens to be the
desired destination. Select the desired address and then the Drive to icon to
begin navigation.
Some partial searches may return too many results from the database. If this is
the case, the search may require refinement by adding more characters to the
Street or City/Postcode.
