    S A F E T Y N O T E S & M A I N T E N A N C E 1.5 Cleaning the Unit The HEMA NAVIGATOR 5” casing can be cleaned using a cloth slightly dampened with a mild detergent and then wiped dry. Care must be taken not to let moisture into the speaker holes or any of the ports, jacks and slots on the device.

    3 GETTING STARTED Congratulations on purchasing your HEMA NAVIGATOR 5” navigation system.     Programs System System Date Time There are three navigation programs installed on the HEMA Navigator: Route 66 Ozi Explorer Memory-Map Route 66 is a street navigation application utilising vector mapping and auto- routing. This application is best used around densely populated areas.

    Bluetooth Bluetooth is a wireless technology which enables the transmission of voice and data over a short distance. The HEMA Navigator is able to pair with a mobile phone to make or receive mobile phone calls.     H E M A N AV I G AT O R 5 ” M E N U S 4.2.2 Bluetooth Menu The HEMA Navigator allows you to pair your device with a Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone to make outgoing calls or to receive incoming calls.

    R O U T E 6 6 5.5.3 Partial Address Searches Partial address searches are a much faster way of entering address details. It is also possible to locate an address in the database where the correct spelling of the city or street is unknown. Partial address searches require only a portion of the street or city name be entered as search criteria.

Routes will provide positioning and distance details between waypoints and provide information and audible cues for navigating between each waypoint.
