4.2 MOTOR OPERATOR
Electrical Charging mechanism (motor)
In order to charge the stored energy mechanism
electrically a motor charging mechanism is
available. The design allows factory or field
mounting and is available for the full range of
EntelliGuard breakers. It is easily fitted with just
three bolts.
When the circuit breaker is opened the
mechanism automatically recharges the springs
and prepares the breaker for an almost
instantaneous re-closure should the need arise.
High speed recharging ensures that the springs
are fully charged within 5 seconds.
A "springs charged" contact remotely indicates
the status of the device.
Installation of Motor Operator
1. The breaker should be safely isolated and
fully withdrawn to disconnected position.
2. Remove the fascia
3. Slide the sleeve (coupling bush) on the
camshaft as shown in Fig. B.
4. Orient the device as shown in Fig. C, locating
the gearbox bearing on to the cam drive shaft,
pushing it until it is flush with the mechanism
side. Gently pulling the charging handle down
will help if difficulties are experienced in
mounting the device correctly. (see Fig. D.)
5. Rotate the motor operator to align the 3
mounting holes in the side sheet. Mount the
device using the tapped holes in the gearbox
assembly and the supplied three M5 bolts .
Torque to 7Nm.
6. Assemble the cam on the cam drive shaft
while pressing the two switch levers as indicated
in Fig. E.
7. Assemble the M8 nylock nut at the end of the
camshaft and torque to 14.5 N m as shown in
Fig. F.

4.2 MOTOR DE CARREGAMENTO DAS
MOLAS
Mecanismo de carregamento elétrico (motor)
De modo a carregar eletricamente o mecanismo
de armazenamento de energia , um motor de
carregamento de molas está disponível. O seu
projeto permite a montagem em fábrica ou em
campo e está disponível para a gama completa
de disjuntores EntelliGuard. É facilmente
instalado só com 3 parafusos.
Quando o disjuntor é aberto o mecanismo
carrega automaticamente as molas e prepara o
disjuntor para um fechamento quase
instantâneo, se houver necessidade. A recarga a
grande velocidade garante a recarga total das

molas em apenas quatro segundos.
Um contato de molas carregadas indica
remotamente o estado do dispositivo.
Instalação do Motor
1. O disjuntor deve estar seguramente isolado e
completamente extraído para a posição
desconectado.
2. Remova a face como explicado...
3. Puxe a alavanca de carregamento manual
para baixo como mostrado na Fig. B.
4. Oriente o dispositivo como mostrado na Fig.
C, situando o rolamento da caixa de
engrenagem no eixo de came, empurre até que
este deslize para o lado do mecanismo. Puxando
lentamente aalavanca de carregamento manual
para baixo ajudacaso ocorra dificuldades de
montar o dispositivo. (Ver Fig. D.)
5. Gire o motor para alinhar os 3 furos de
montagem na sua lateral. Monte o dispositivo
usando os referidos furos na caixa de
engrenagens e os 3 parafusos M5 fornecidos.
Torque de 7Nm.
6. Monte o eixo de came enquanto pressiona as
duas alavancas dos contatos como indicado na
Fig. E.
7. Monte a porca de segurança M8 no fim do
eixo de came e aperte com um torque de 14.5 N
m como mostrado na Fig. F.
8. Carregue as molas manualmente com a
alavanca e garanta que o motor foi montado
corretamente.

Removal of Front cover
1. Remove pad locks, installed if any. Switch off the breaker.
2. Unscrew the 4 screws (6Nm, 4.42ft-lbs) using a Pozidrive screw driver as shown in
Fig. A&B.
3. Rotate the charging handle down and slide the front cover over the handle to
remove out as shown in Fig. C.

1. Remova os cadeados, se instalados. DESLIGUE o disjuntor.
2. Desaperte os 4 parafusos usando uma chave Pozidrive como mostrado na Fig. AeB.
3. Rode para baixo a alavanca de carregamento e puxe a face frontal deslizando pela
alavanca para remover como mostrado na Fig. C
Usunięcie płyty czołowej
1. Usunąć kłódki, jeśli są założone. Wyłączyć wyłącznik.
2. Odkręcić 4 śrub (6Nm) używając wkrętaka Pozidrive w sposób pokazany na Fot. AiB.
3. Obrócić korbę w dół i przesunąć płytę czołową nad dźwignią aby zdjąć ją w sposób
pokazany na Fot. C.

4.2 NAPĘD SILNIKOWY
Elektryczne zbrojenie mechanizmu (silnik)
Elektryczne zazbrojenie mechanizmu
zasobnikowego jest wykonywane przy użyciu
napędu silnikowego. Jego konstrukcja umożliwia
montaż fabryczny lub w miejscu eksploatacji i
jest dostępna dla pełnego zakresu wyłączników
EntelliGuard. Zamocowanie jest bardzo łatwe
przy użyciu tylko trzech śrub.
Gdy wyłącznik jest otwierany – mechanizm
automatycznie dozbraja sprężyny i
przygotowuje wyłącznik do natychmiastowego
szybkiego ponownego zamknięcia w razie takiej
potrzeby. Dzięki szybkiemu dozbrajaniu sprężyny

mechanizmu są naciągane w czase 4 sekund.
Stan urządzenia jest wskazywany przez styk
sygnalizacyjny "sprężyny zazbrojone".
Zamocowanie napędu silnikowego
1. Wyłącznik powinien być bezpiecznie
odłączony i całkowicie wysunięty do położenia
odłączenia.
2. Zdjąć płytę czołową
3. Zsunąć tuleję (tulejkę sprzęgającą) na wale
krzywki w sposób pokazany na Fot. B.
4. Ustawić urządzenie w sposób pokazany na
Fot. C, umieszczając łożysko przekładni na
wałku napędowym krzywki, wsuwając je tak aby
zrównało się z płytą czołową. W przypadku
trudności z prawidłowym zamocowaniem należy
delikatnie pociągnąć w dół dźwignię zbrojenia
(patrz Fot. D.)
5. Obrócić napęd silnikowy tak aby ustawić 3
otwory montażowe w ściance bocznej.
Zamontować urządzenie przy użyciu otworów
gwintowanych w skrzyni przekładniowej oraz
dostarczonych trzech śrub M5. Maks. moment
7Nm.
6. Zamocować krzywkę na wałku napędowym
krzywki wciskając dwie dźwignie łączników w
sposób pokazany na Fot. E.
7. Zamocować nakrętkę M8 na końcu wałka
krzywki i momentem 14.5 Nm w sposób
pokazany na Fot. F.
8. Naciągnąć sprężyny ręcznie przy użyciu
dźwigni napędowej i sprawdzić czy silnik jest
zamocowany prawidłowo.
