n Stopping the Power System
When started remotely, the power system shuts off after 10 minutes of
idling. It will also stop if the POWER button and the brake are pressed
individually.
Engine exhaust contains carbon monoxide.
Breathing carbon monoxide can kill you or cause unconsciousness.
Never use the remote engine starter with the vehicle parked in a garage
or other areas with limited ventilation.

Starting to Drive
Turn on the vehicle and start the power system to begin driving.
Starting the Power System

1. Make sure the parking brake is
applied.
2. Depress the brake pedal.
3. Press the POWER button without
depressing the accelerator pedal.
Note: The power system is harder to start in cold weather and in thinner
air found at altitudes above 8,000 feet (2,400 m). When turning on the
power system in cold weather, turn off all electrical accessories such as the
lights, climate control system, and rear defogger in order to reduce 12-volt
battery drain.
Changing the Power Mode

Use the POWER button to cycle through power modes or start the power
system.
