The machine must only wrap bales compressed from grain crops, hay or silage from grasses which are on the ground of a field (= correct use).

    2. Introduction 2.4 Controller GUID-FCC11E3C-C7EF-4FA9-BE48-DF0B7A56C35C [V1] 2.4.1 E-link basic controller The E-Link Basic controller controls and monitors the machine. The E-link Basic Controller has an LCD display, four switches, five buttons and an emergency stop button. These features let personnel set and change values for the machine's operation. The LCD display also shows reports and errors for personnel to view.

    2. Introduction The buttons let personnel move through the screens. After approximately five seconds the E- link will go to the usual screen (screen 1). NOTE: Use the buttons as shown to move through the menu structure. The sections in this chapter show personnel how to use and set the menus, use the quick reference charts to see the full function of the interface structure.

    3. Operation Connect the safety towing chain between the machine and the tractor. Remove the dust caps from the two hydraulic hoses. Connect the 3/8" hydraulic hose to a single- acting hydraulic valve on the tractor. Connect the 1/2" hydraulic hose to a connection without pressure on the tractor.

Install the optional bale end-tipper to the machine if operated on slopes frequently. When the machine is in operation without the bale end-tipper always release bales in a perpendicular direction to the slope.
