  • Page 7 Always make sure that the marker is off with a barrel blocking device installed Loosen the PAL clamping feed neck. and that no paintballs are in the ETHA2 or loader before installing an air system. Open the feed neck lever away from the feed neck.

    QUICK START FIG-1 STATUS INDICATOR FIG-1 The status indicator is visible on each side of the ETHA2 and is used to indicate a number of different things. Breech sensor status Battery status After power up the ETHA2’s status indicator will display the status of the breech sensor (BS).
  • Page 10: Velocity Adjustment

    Insert a 1/8 hex key into the velocity adjuster screw to alter the velocity of the ETHA2. Turn the hex key clockwise to reduce velocity. Turn the hex key counter-clockwise to increase velocity. Fire two clearing shots after each velocity adjustment for an accurate velocity reading.

    ETHA2 or loader before adjusting the trigger. Do not wind the screws in too far as this may prevent the ETHA2 from firing or even damage the marker. If the pre-travel screw is wound in too far this could cause the ETHA2 to fire unintentionally.

    Never carry your ETHA2 un-cased when not on a playing field. The non-playing public and law enforcement personnel may not be able to distinguish between a paintball marker and a real firearm. For your own safety and to protect the image of paintball, always carry the Eclipse ETHA2 (or any other paintball marker) in a suitable marker case such as the one in which it was supplied.

    ELECTRONICS THE SET-UP MODE To modify the ETHA2 control parameters you must first enter the Modifying a parameter: set-up mode: Enter the set-up mode. Fully depress and hold the trigger. Select a parameter using the trigger. Switch on the ETHA2.

    RESET FACTORY RESET It is important that the ETHA2 is set-up as per factory standards FIG-1 before use. To restore to factory settings, follow these steps. FIG-1 Enter set-up mode (see page 16). Reset all of the parameters to their factory-set default values by pressing and holding the tournament lock button for 2 seconds (see page 31).

    RESET INSTALLING A 9V BATTERY The ETHA2’s lock n’ load battery system is located in the foregrip and FIG-1 makes changing your battery easy.
