Remove the two Phillips PM2.0×4.7 screws (4) that secure the bottom cover to the keyboard/top cover.

Insert a case utility tool (1) or similar thin, plastic tool between the bottom cover and the keyboard/
top cover.
7.
Separate the front edge of the bottom cover (2) from the keyboard/top cover.
8.
Swing the front edge of the bottom cover (3) up and away from the keyboard/top cover until
the bottom cover is released.
9.
Remove the bottom cover (4).
Reverse this procedure to install the bottom cover.
