In mobile homes that are not well insulated extreme heat or cold can be transferred from the outside to the inside through poorly insulated walls and roof.

To activate this feature you must break out the tamper-resist blocks on the mounting plate (Figure 4A). Use a small screwdriver. • Using this feature will deter children and others from removing the alarm from the mounting plate.

The alarm silencer (Hush ) has the capability of temporarily desensitising the alarm circuit for about 11 minutes.

A fresh battery should last for one year under normal operating conditions. This alarm has a low battery monitor which will cause the alarm to “chirp”...

You can clean the alarm by using compressed air or a vacuum cleaner hose with a soft brush attachment.
