4.2 Display functions of the error and status LEDs
As of FEF-03 software version 05, the synchronization status is displayed additionally on the
AddFEM SoE. This can be used during commissioning in order to check whether the optical
synchronization pulse of the GPS Time Server sent typically in a minute interval is inserted
correctly at the AddFEM SoE. The software version is visible at the cross on the
FEF-03 shield on the front.
The quality of the received light pulse is displayed as follows at the "USR 1" LED of the
AddFEM SoE:

If you want to check the light pulse at the plastic fiber-optic cable, take the following into
consideration:
After pulling the plastic fiber-optic cable from the AddFEM SoE, do not look directly into the
cable end, because the light pulse of the SoE repeater module or SoE repeater extension
module is very bright.
