Checking the station name
(TUNER)
Press DISPLAY on the unit while listening
to the radio.
Each time you press the button, the display
changes cyclically as follows:

t Preset number and
Station name

t Clock display
frequency

t Volume
status

Only when the preset station is labelled.

When a radio station name is labelled, it appears for
a short time and then the display returns to the top
item.

After a short time, the display returns to the top
item.
To scroll a long name
Press SCROLL.
Note
Depending on the DVD, the disc information may not
be displayed or the display may not be changed.
Tips
• You can check the current track title during
playback. If you press SCROLL, a track title appears
scrolling in the display.
• To label the preset stations, see "Labelling the preset
stations" on page 40.
• You can check the playing time of the disc using the
Control Menu (see "Viewing information about the
disc in the on-screen display" on page 49).

Viewing information
about the disc in the
on-screen display
You can check the playing time and remaining
time of the current title, chapter, or track, and the
total playing time of the disc.
You can also check the DVD/CD text and file/
album name recorded on the disc.

Press DVD DISPLAY during play.
The Control Menu appears.

Press DISPLAY on the unit to change
the time information.
The display and the kinds of time that you
can change depend on the disc you are
playing.
