Managing Sensors
Low Power Mode
Table 1: Changes to this Document
Description
Added: Subscribers can add and delete environmental devices
(lights/thermostats), key fobs, and Wi-Fi repeaters.
Changed: Up to 64 environmental devices and security sensors can be paired
to the TouchScreen.
Added: A warning that under certain circumstances it is possible for
subscribers to exceed this number but that it should not be done without the
assistance of a Service Provider rep since the system will act unexpectedly
under certain circumstances (such as Low Power Mode). See the Home
Installation Guide for details.
Added: This section now clarifies that when the TouchScreen goes into deep
sleep when the battery power is very low, generally rules are disabled.
There are some circumstances in which rules are still operation. See the Home
Installation Guide for details.
Removed: Previous releases of this document state that after the
TouchScreen goes into deep sleep when the battery is really low, it reboots 90
seconds after power is restored. This was true for QNX-based devices, but is
not true for Android-based devices.
